Circle on Cavill is a cool open air shopping centre on the Gold Coast, only a street away from the beach in Surfers Paradise.
A few years ago I was tasked with creating a few decals to brighten up their family / parent bathroom in the centre - prior to this they had a few pukey green walls and a few store bought stickers to liven up the place.
For this, my only instructions were to include rainbows and make it fun. Such a broad brief was initially daunting, but I loved the idea of doing some fun typography on the long wall, and bringing bright and beachy colours inside.
Although the final product is something one would typically expect outside as an insta photo spot, I love the idea of encountering such an unexpected piece of colour and fun in such an unlikely place.
